Felicia Tam

Felicia joined the Bow Wow Meow team in 2025 to lend her veterinary expertise to the expansive existing content library. A practising vet, she has been working in the same small animal practice since 2017, enabling her to build long term relationships with pets and their families, as well as helping to mentor junior vets starting out in practice. Her special interest areas include medicine, imaging and integrative therapies.

Felicia has always wanted to be a vet, and loves all animals big and small, domestic and wild. In university she undertook an honours project at Taronga Zoo researching non-invasive methods of monitoring stress in Australian Sea Lions, and one of her favourite treasured memories is visiting Botswana to see elephants and lions in their natural habitat.

At home, as a mum to two young boys, she spends lots of time out and about with her family at playgrounds and preschool, and in her limited spare time she loves to read, do patchwork and sewing, or be outside tending to her native garden.
