Dr Felicia Tam BVSc

Dr Felicia joined the Bow Wow Meow team in 2025 to lend her veterinary expertise to the expansive existing content library. Since graduating with a Bachelor in Veterinary Science from Sydney University in 2011, Dr Felicia has worked in small animal practice as a GP and emergency vet in Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches. Her special interest areas include medicine, imaging and integrative therapies.

Felicia has always wanted to be a vet, and loves all animals big and small, domestic and wild. In university she undertook an honours project at Taronga Zoo researching non-invasive methods of monitoring stress in Australian sea lions, and one of her most treasured memories is visiting Botswana to see elephants and lions in their natural habitat.

At home, as a mum to two young boys, and fur-mum to Cooper, a senior rescue cat, she spends lots of time out and about with her family at playgrounds and preschool, and in her limited spare time she loves to read, do patchwork and sewing, or be outside tending to her native garden.
