How to make a GapOnly® claim
GapOnly® claims can be processed at any stage of the pet treatment process:
Pre-approval
Your vet can request a pre-approval on your behalf for the proposed conditions and procedure, to ensure it’s covered under your pet insurance policy.
Pre-discharge
Your vet can submit a GapOnly® claim on your behalf, ahead of you picking up your pet after treatment.
On the spot
Your vet can lodge the GapOnly® claim on your behalf while you’re still at the clinic, and it’s assessed within 10 minutes^.
GapOnly® service availability
A GapOnly® claim can be processed during (AEST, excluding NSW public holidays):
- Monday – Saturday 8:00 am – 10:00 pm
When GapOnly® isn’t available, your vet may be able to submit an electronic pet insurance claim (or an eClaim) instead.
^Assessment times may vary depending on complexity of the claim and completeness of information.
