What is a Hero Pet?
Hero Pets are special dogs and cats who have been through an ordeal and come out the other side:
- They may have undergone a really challenging medical experience, such as a life-threatening accident or illness.
- They may have had a behavioural problem which seriously impacted their lives, that they’ve worked really hard to address.
- They may have had a really rough start to life, and with a lot of love and care, have become the most wonderful family companion.
- They may have done something extraordinary, such as helped a family member during a difficult time.
We recognise that there are many pets out there who are facing challenges every day. These dogs and cats are all heroes to us. If you would like to nominate your fur baby as a Bow Wow Hero Pet, please let us know.
